Cedar mulch is made up of chips and shavings of cedar tree bark. It is a durable mulch that is reddish brown in color.
Cedar mulch is best used over pathways and for large flower beds and around trees.
It is best to apply 2-4" of mulch in all plant/gardening areas, depending on the type of mulch. Finer mulches: 2", coarser mulches: 4" layer.
